Diaper Rite Smart Size™ Prefold Diapers
The product of several years of personal experience, customer feedback, and research. Responsibly manufactured in Pakistan using "Indian" cotton, these cotton prefold diapers are unsurpassed, diaper service quality (DSQ) prefolds.
Rectangular in shape, Diaper Rite™ Prefolds are sewn with three vertical panels of varying layers of 100% heavyweight cotton twill. From left to right, the Diaper Rite Prefold panels are sewn with a 4 x 8 x 4 ratio of cotton layers. Naturally, the middle panel is the thickest with 8 absorbent layers. The left and right panels are sewn with half the layers to avoid bulk when fastening the Diaper Rite Prefold Cloth Diaper around baby.
What is Smart Size™?
Diaper Rite Prefold Diapers have been sensibly cut shorter and wider than traditional prefold diapers. Our prefold diapers will lay into most diaper covers without needing to be folded over in the front or the back, reducing unnecessary bulk. The increased width was designed specifically for baby's comfort. Many prefolds do not allow enough fabric on the left and right to comfortably secure with a Snappi.

**All Prewashed and Washed Prefold dimensions above are approximate; taken at rest, but can be pulled wider. After prepping and washing, prefold diapers will shrink anywhere from 5-15%. Because of the inherent properties of the cotton, Prefold Diapers not only shrink differently from batch to batch, but even from diaper to diaper. The measurements provided in the chart above are not exact and cannot be guaranteed; they are intended for approximate size selection only.
Diaper Rite™ Prefold Diapers are available in two colors:
- White or Bleached (peroxide, not chlorine bleach)
- Natural or Unbleached (Undyed)
Serged with a heavier gauged thread than other prefolds, the durable Diaper Rite Prefold Diapers will hold up to rigorous usage, even industrial washing and drying. Diaper Rite Prefolds are cotton cloth diapers that will last through multiple children.
Diaper Rite™ Prefold Diaper Preperation
When you first receive your Diaper Rite Prefold Diapers they will NOT BE WASHED. Please wash and dry the Diaper Rite Prefolds a minimum of 3 times before use; this fluffs up the cotton fibers, removes any remaining cotton oils, and allows for absorbency. Diaper Rite Prefolds get softer, more absorbent, and more quilted each time they are washed and dried. |
